The YMCA of Central Stark County is hiring a Summer Enrichment Coordinator to lead our literacy (ELA) and social-emotional learning (SEL) enrichment program across multiple day camp sites. Requirements

• Experience leading or coordinating youth programs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team with positivity and purpose
• Familiarity with literacy and SEL practices
• Must pass background check, obtain a medical form, and complete Y training

Nice To Haves

• Educators, youth development professionals, or emerging leaders with experience in program coordination and a heart for helping students thrive!
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or progress toward one preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the Summer Enrichment program
• Support and supervise Summer Enrichment Specialists, ensuring program fidelity and staff success
• Collaborate with site directors and camp teams to integrate academic enrichment into the broader camp experience
• Monitor curriculum implementation and student engagement
• Assist with training, coaching, and troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure safety, quality, and fun for all participants
• Summarize program outcomes and impact through simple data tracking and end-of-summer reporting
