About The Position
The YMCA of Central Stark County is hiring a Summer Enrichment Coordinator to lead our literacy (ELA) and social-emotional learning (SEL) enrichment program across multiple day camp sites.
Requirements
- Experience leading or coordinating youth programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team with positivity and purpose
- Familiarity with literacy and SEL practices
- Must pass background check, obtain a medical form, and complete Y training
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree or progress toward one preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and daily operations of the Summer Enrichment program
- Support and supervise Summer Enrichment Specialists, ensuring program fidelity and staff success
- Collaborate with site directors and camp teams to integrate academic enrichment into the broader camp experience
- Monitor curriculum implementation and student engagement
- Assist with training, coaching, and troubleshooting as needed
- Ensure safety, quality, and fun for all participants
- Summarize program outcomes and impact through simple data tracking and end-of-summer reporting
