About The Position

Come build something with Shepley Bulfinch as a Summer Design Intern! As a Summer Design Intern you could assist on a varied range of assignments including architectural documentation in Revit, renderings and other graphics for job-getting efforts and client meetings, development of office standards or construction administration. You can expect to partner with a more experienced project architect to develop plans, elevations, RCPs and details . With their vision and expertise, you will model spaces, usually working off redlines or getting direction in a meeting. You have a strong and diverse design portfolio and are interested in working on projects in all phases of design from concept design through construction administration. You would like to work in a challenging, exciting environment, often balancing priorities of multiple small projects. You thrive working independently and collaboratively with some direction. You are passionate about design and comfortable explaining your design choices. This is a paid internship opportunity. You will gain practical experience working with teams, leverage the expertise of the people you meet, and learn how an architecture firm operates. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
  • Must be returning to school in Fall 2026
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS or Affinity (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in Revit is desired
