Meyers+Associates is looking for an Interior Design Intern to collaborate with project teams and consultants on multiple projects in a variety of design and production roles. Located in the Uptown District of downtown Columbus, Ohio, we take an integrated approach to design, fostering human connection, positive transformation, and sustainable outcomes. Meyers+Associates seeks a qualified applicant as a 10-week paid interior design intern to work on various tasks within the firm. The intern’s tasks will be incorporated throughout all project phases: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration. Candidates will be integrated into project teams to gain experience with several interior design projects progressing through different phases of the design process.
Requirements
- Strong design skills and a passion for creativity
- A high degree of self-motivation: able to take initiative and go above and beyond tasks given
- Ability to work through and meet quick deadlines
- Ability to work and coordinate with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
