About The Position

Best Way Stone is looking for an energetic, positive and team-oriented Summer Customer Service Specialist team member to join our Woodbridge location for the May through September season. This front-counter role supports the day-to-day customer service function by assisting with inquiries, order processing, and general office support. Acting as a key point of contact between Best Way Stone and our customers, this position plays an important role in creating a smooth, professional and positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in progress.
  • Previous customer service or related experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to support administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and respond to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both oral and written, is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, responsive service to support a positive customer experience.
  • Enter and process purchase order, phone orders and other customer transactions accurately.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and assist in resolving questions or concerns.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor order details and flag any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized and professional.
  • Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Follow company health and safety policies, procedures and office/front-counter safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free customer service and work area.
  • Work in a manner that protects the safety of employees, customers and visitors.
  • Report hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents or near misses promptly.
  • Participate in required health and safety training and emergency procedures.
