About The Position

Serves and assists patrons in all concert/show venues by performing the following functions: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares, sells and serves food and beverage to patrons in a concession stand Provide constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests, greets guests in appropriate manner. Serve beverages according to MAST guidelines. Occasionally clears dirtied dishes and garbage to maintain the cleanliness of the concession stand. Prepare concert/show venue as needed in preparation for the event. Assist other concession attendants with all of the above to ensure total Teamwork. Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean; neat work area with adequate supply level. Maintain the cleanliness of all concert/show venues and service stations. Maintains clean and stocked food and beverage stations. Accurately operate a cash register. Provide guests with the proper change when handling cash. Accurately process debit/credit card transactions. Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end. Relay any complaints, problems or positive remarks to shift supervisor. Attend all training meetings. Assist in other projects, as directed. Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians – State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Casino Policies and Procedures. Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record. May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Board Process. This job description does not list all the duties of this position. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Payment Card Industry Training
  • Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start date.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a cashier or waiter/waitress preferred.
