Summer Theatre Classroom Assistants are vital support staff for our summer programming, working with Lead Theatre Classroom Teaching Artists to deliver theatre-based curriculum to students from Kindergarten to high school. The position is one of responsibility, social maturity, and kindness. This position hopes to inspire the next generation of performing arts Teaching Artists through active and engaging responsibilities. Summer programming runs Monday – Friday from June 15-July 31, 2026. The Monday-Friday summer workday is structured around the hours of 8:30 am – 4 pm. On each Monday, there is an all staff meeting from 7:45 – 8:30 am. Classroom Assistants balance their workday between pre/post class duties and providing active support to classroom teachers and guest artists, working up to 36 hours per week. Applicants are cautioned not to expect more than two weeks of employment.
