About The Position

As an Early Childhood Educator at Encompass, you will: · Create nurturing, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development · Implement the HighScope Curriculum through active learning, observation, and assessment · Use Conscious Discipline strategies to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive classrooms · Build strong partnerships with children and families · Maintain developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environments · Collaborate with Center Directors, fellow educators, and advocates · Participate in ongoing professional growth Our Ruth Helf Center, located at 2787 West Mason Street in Green Bay, is currently seeking a Teacher working with all ages for the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This is a limited term role that will be worked over the summer. Requirements

  • High school diploma required (Assistant Teacher)
  • Two non-credit early childhood courses completed preferred (Assistant Teacher)
  • Interest in early childhood education and a desire to continue learning and growing in the field (Assistant Teacher)
  • Associate degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field (Lead Teacher)
  • Bachelor’s degrees in unrelated fields are welcome to apply (Lead Teacher)
  • Classroom experience and understanding of developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practice preferred (Lead Teacher)
