About The Position

Encompass is a mission-driven non-profit and recognized leader in early childhood education in Northeast Wisconsin. Our NAEYC-accredited programs are grounded in HighScope Curriculum and Conscious Discipline, with on-site supports that allow educators to focus on meaningful teaching and relationship-based care.

Requirements

High school diploma required
Two non-credit early childhood courses completed preferred
Interest in early childhood education and a desire to continue learning and growing in the field
Associate degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field
Bachelor’s degrees in unrelated fields are welcome to apply
Classroom experience and understanding of developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practice preferred

Responsibilities

Create nurturing, engaging learning environments that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
Implement the HighScope Curriculum through active learning, observation, and assessment
Use Conscious Discipline strategies to foster safe, respectful, and inclusive classrooms
Build strong partnerships with children and families
Maintain developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning environments
Collaborate with Center Directors, fellow educators, and advocates
Participate in ongoing professional growth
