About The Position
The Red Barn Child Care Center & Preschool is looking for energetic and caring Summer Camp Teachers to join our team! If you love working with children, being active, and creating fun learning experiences, this is a great opportunity to spend your summer making a difference. Our summer program includes outdoor activities, games, art projects, and themed weeks creating a fun and engaging environment for children and staff alike. Requirements
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical and 3 professional references required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children preferred (child care, preschool, camp, babysitting, etc.)
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Reliable and responsible in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and patience with young children
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and lead engaging activities such as games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Create a positive, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Communicate with parents and leadership regarding children's daily experiences
