About The Position
The Goddard School is a nationally recognized early childhood education program focused on creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children. Our Summer Camp program for Kindergarten through 5th grade blends learning, creativity, and adventure—and we’re looking for enthusiastic counselors to help make it unforgettable. We are seeking energetic, dependable Summer Camp Counselors to lead daily activities, supervise campers, and create a positive experience for children throughout the summer.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18
- Experience working with children preferred (babysitting, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to be active and outdoors for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in daily camp activities
- Lead games, crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor play
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and cleanup
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- Uphold The Goddard School’s standards of professionalism and care
