This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the supervision of the Youth Development Coordinator(s), Program Coordinator(s), and the Director of Camps, the Summer Camp Supervisor is responsible for overall Summer Camp site operations: tone-setting, communication, behavior management, scheduling, quality of activities, and parent communication. The Camp Supervisor supports camp counselors, ensures the physical, emotional and social safety of campers are met, builds relationships with campers and their household members, and leads the camp team by demonstrating strength in responsibility and leadership in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
