Summer Camp Group Leader/Early Learning Professional
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Summer Camp Group Leader, you will help shape meaningful moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. The role requires an early learning professional who enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, takes child safety seriously, and is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed. You will lead groups of students through daily curriculum activities, prioritize child safety, maintain a clean and organized space, create an inclusive environment, and build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff. AlphaBEST aims to boost your potential by providing real experience, hands-on training, and tools for career development.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Keep the space clean and organized
- Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included
- Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff
