The Summer Camp Director is responsible for leading and supporting a team of Summer Camp Counselors while creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for campers and ensuring their overall well-being. This role oversees the planning, preparation, and supervision of daily games and activities that promote positive social interaction while adhering to the MPCC Camp Schedule. The Summer Camp Director is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, customer service, professionalism, creativity, and organizational skills throughout each day of camp. The Director should be available most weekdays (Monday–Friday) from June 15 through August 14, with a paid orientation and training session possibly required prior to June 15. Camp operates between 8:00am and 5:30pm, including pre- and post-care, with shifts scheduled within these hours; however, the Director will rarely be required to work the full open-to-close day. This position is anticipated to average approximately 40 hours per week and includes the opportunity for an end-of-summer bonus based on performance and program needs.
