The Summer Camp Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the instructional and operational design of the summer camp experience at Frost Science. This position will oversee the delivery of educational, science-based, and interactive curriculum to children ages 5-15. Session content areas may include but are not limited to astronomy, aeronautics, engineering, archeology, marine science, ecology and biology. The Summer Camp Coordinator will report directly to the Science Education Manager who will be serving as Camp Manager. The following is the required time commitment for the position. Up to 40 hours per week Availability Monday Friday, 9:00 am 5:30 pm. Availability for all nine weeks of Summer Camp running from June 8- August 7. There will be no camp on June 19 and July 3. Availability to start the week of June 1 for training and camp preparations (if this date is not possible, it is not an automatic disqualification but please note this on your application). Hours are subject to operational needs and camper registration.
