About The Position

Join Oakland Feather River Camp as a Summer Camp Community Support Specialist (aka Outreach Program Specialist). You’ll help coordinate our outreach programs, support families, and assist with camper logistics - all while promoting an equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Optional housing and meals are provided if you want to live onsite.
Requirements
- Passionate about equity, inclusion, and supporting diverse communities
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable communicating with families, staff, and community partners
- 18+ with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Enjoy working hands-on in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
Nice To Haves
- Spanish speakers strongly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Coordinate outreach programs and family support initiatives
- Assist families with logistics, gear, and communication needs
- Support staff in delivering an inclusive and equitable camper experience
- Track participation, help with data collection, and support reporting
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth daily operations
