About The Position
This position is only for the summer season. The position will only be active from May 18 -July 24, 2026, with a weekly maximum of 20 hours for After Care Coordinators.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 year of experience working with children ages 5-12 (paid or volunteer)
Responsibilities
- Managing daily aftercare operations
- overseeing the aftercare staff and camp participants
- always ensuring the safety of all participants
- planning, implementing, and supervising aftercare activities, including snack time
- overseeing camp participant pick-up process
- enforcing disciplinary procedures for camp participants and aftercare staff
- monitoring the use of supplies
- maintaining a clean and orderly environment
- cultivating a positive and professional work environment for staff members
- interacting positively with and establishing productive relationships with staff, camp participants, parents, and guardians
