About The Position

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years old. Must have patience, the ability to work with adults, and accept responsibilities. Successfully meet background-screening requirements. Documentation of the skill required to instruct a class. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Programming community education activities to be offered in the community school including recreational, social, cultural, personal, academic enrichment/remedial services, and workforce development; Working cooperatively with existing community and service agencies to implement programs and services for citizens of all ages and special groups; Promoting, publicizing, and monitoring existing and planned programs; Evaluating the activities of community education to update their continued development; Maintaining accurate records and reports vital to the operation and evaluation of the Community Education Program; Performing other duties as assigned by the school’s coordinator; Have a working knowledge of the school’s specific/unique ways to implement DCPS established rules and regulations.
