About The Position
This position is only for the summer season. The position will only be active from May 18-July 24.
Requirements
- experience working with children ages 5-12 (paid or volunteer)
- must be 16 years old or older
Responsibilities
- assisting the Summer Camp After-Care Coordinator with after-care
- always ensuring the safety of all participants
- interacting positively with and establishing productive relationships with staff, camp participants, parents, and guardians
- escorting campers to the bathroom, outdoor play area, and after-care areas
- assists in watching over students during snack time and outdoor play
- assisting with camp participant pick-up process
- maintaining a clean environment
- preparing after-care area, including but not limited to: setting up tables, breaking down tables, folding and putting away chairs, etc.
- cleaning up after-care area daily, including but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables, etc.
