About The Position

The 9-week Equity Research Summer Internship Program offers undergraduates a hands-on introduction to the Research Associate role. Interns will collaborate with research professionals, from Associate to Managing Director levels, gaining exposure to various investment research methods. This program provides significant learning opportunities through day-to-day projects and broad exposure to the firm and industry. Summer Interns will manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on research and analysis for their assigned industry group coverage. The Stifel Equity Research Group is a recognized leader, known for its deep and broad coverage, with award-winning analysts who are thought leaders and often have hands-on industry experience, providing objective, in-depth analysis and timely, actionable research ideas. Requirements

  • Outstanding academic records
  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, athletics, and cultural and entrepreneurial activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous project deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exposure to finance and accounting
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Highly-motivated and energetic
  • Demonstrated interest in finance
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5
  • An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028
  • Eligible to start on June 1, 2027
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside research professionals and gain exposure to a variety of investment research methods
