The Union for Reform Judaism’s (URJ) 6 Points Creative Arts Academy seeks a dynamic, relational, and operationally strong Summer Assistant Director to help shape a transformative creative arts camp experience and deepen year-round engagement with campers, families, and staff. This position follows a seasonal leadership model. During the program year, the Assistant Director works on a reduced schedule focused on recruitment, communications, relationship cultivation, and operational preparation. During the summer season, the role transitions to a full-time, on-site leadership position, providing hands-on oversight of camp life and daily operations. As a key member of the leadership team, the Assistant Director advances the Union for Reform Judaism’s mission to build communities of belonging that nurture confidence and character in young people. Through immersive creative arts and Jewish experiences, we inspire campers and staff to grow as leaders of self and others and pursue lifelong engagement in Jewish life. About 6 Points Creative Arts Academy (CAA) CAA offers magical summers experiences where young people from all backgrounds—including Campers of Color, LGBTQ+ campers, campers with disabilities, and others from underrepresented communities—can grow, connect, and thrive. We are committed to creating inclusive, transformative experiences where every camper and staff member feels valued, supported, and inspired.
