Program Description Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture. Job Description Blackstone’s GP Stakes strategy pursues minority investments in private equity and other private-market managers. Summer Analysts within our GP Stakes strategy will have the chance to evaluate and engage in investments in a variety of private equity firms and other private-market alternative asset management firms. The investment process develops both the financial analysis of investment banking and the strategic thinking of management consulting together with a “principal” mindset. As a result, our Summer Analysts enhance their skillsets in business and gain firsthand experience with a wide range of private equity firms and investment strategies. Summer Analysts at Blackstone can participate in all aspects of a given project and be staffed on several assignments at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Summer Analysts can assume integral roles on deal teams. Summer Analysts are involved with the due diligence, evaluation, structuring, and financing of transactions and regularly attend internal meetings, management sessions, and negotiations. This is an opportunity for a strong performer with accounting, financial, analytical, and research skills gained through personal investing, academic work, and professional experience.
