About The Position

Turn data into decisions and gain real-world experience in wholesale lending as Rabobank’s Wholesale Lending Portfolio Management Summer Analyst. The Wholesale Lending Portfolio Management Internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in portfolio analytics and credit process management within Rabobank’s Wholesale Lending division. This program offers practical exposure to data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, aligned with Rabobank’s commitment to developing top talent. Interns will be paired with mentors and receive professional development opportunities to ensure a meaningful experience. You and Your Job As a Portfolio Management Summer Analyst, you will support the team by maintaining and analyzing portfolio data, preparing monitoring decks, and assisting with reporting for First Line and Second Line stakeholders. You will also contribute to projects focused on process enhancements and system implementations, gaining insight into credit workflows and governance. This role emphasizes analytical skills, collaboration, and exposure to strategic initiatives that drive portfolio performance and risk management.

Requirements

• Rising juniors seeking an undergraduate degree (preferably entering senior year) in finance or related studies and/or familiarity with finance.
• Strong academic performance reflected by a competitive GPA in undergraduate coursework.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerBi, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Portfolio Data Management: Support the maintenance of accurate portfolio data and help prepare monitoring decks for management review.
• Perform Data Analysis: Conduct credit-related data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the wholesale lending portfolio.
• Generate Reports and Dashboards: Help create and update portfolio-level reports and dashboards for First Line and Second Line stakeholders.
• Monitor Portfolio Performance: Track key metrics and assist in preparing summaries for risk and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage in a consultative manner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth process execution.
• Support Credit Project Initiatives: Contribute to ongoing projects related to process improvements, system enhancements, and portfolio governance.
