The Energy Policy and Procurement (EPP) organization is responsible for sourcing energy products and shaping PG&E’s engagement in energy-related regulatory and legislative proceedings at the state, regional, and federal levels. EPP oversees long-term energy portfolio planning, risk management, and compliance functions. The Structured Energy Transactions (SET) Department manages wholesale power purchase agreements for renewable and storage resources, overseeing procurement programs designed to meet policy objectives cost-effectively. Within SET, the Energy Transactions (ET) Team leads the structuring, origination, negotiation, and management of PG&E’s wholesale electric commodity procurement, including transacting a variety of energy products including physical and financial energy, resource adequacy, and greenhouse gas-free energy. The team drives the execution of solicitations, develops power purchase and sale agreements, and ensures these activities support state reliability and environmental goals. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. The preferred work location is Oakland, CA. PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of the job posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. A reasonable salary range for Bay Area is $122,000 to $173.800.
