Hexcel is currently seeking a Summer Accounting Intern for our Stamford, CT location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Participate in ERP implementation project including data clean-up, account reconciliations and data verification. Participate in monthly/quarterly closing process including consolidation and preparation of monthly financial statements, analysis and reports Assist in the preparation of various monthly journal entries as part of the month end close process Assist in the second quarter 2026 10-Q and Press Release processes including compiling support documentation and assisting in the preparation of certain footnotes Special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • At least 2 years of college studies completed and working towards a four-year or graduate degree in accounting or finance or related degree program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions as directed
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel (including creating pivot tables and navigating workbooks, reports, and tabs)
  • Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
