About The Position

The Fidelity Intern Program (FIDTERN Program) offers students the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, real-world work and projects as valued members of a dedicated team. Our program is designed to provide students with a firsthand experience of what it's like to work here full-time. We deliver a best-in-class program experience to ensure interns feel a sense of belonging and community, while receiving critical training and development to be a future Fidelity associate. Here's the experience you can expect to have as a FIDTERN: Professional & Financial Development Sessions: Join exclusive webinars designed to equip you with essential skills for both your career and personal growth! Learn directly from senior leaders, sharpen your professional communication, explore strategies for maintaining well-being in the workplace, and build financial confidence through expert-led financial literacy workshops. Mentorship: Opt-in to our intern mentorship program and connect with experienced professionals who will support your growth and help you navigate your career journey. Regional Events: Build connections with leaders and fellow interns through engaging onsite experiences and unwind with your peers at fun local outings (like go-karting, pickleball, or bowling).

Requirements

  • Demonstrate empathy and passion for helping people.
  • Ensure an excellent customer experience through phone interactions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Desire to establish rapport and relationships with customers and the team.
  • A strong interest in financial services and/or getting FINRA licenses post-graduation.
  • Ability to handle different types of situations, emotions, and conversations driving towards a resolution suitable for all.
  • Current college student (undergraduate or graduate) who will return to coursework after their summer internship.
  • Availability for the entire 10-week program from June 1st - August 7th, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Job shadowing other associates and listening on phone calls.
  • Starting to take calls on your own to build confidence and gain customer-facing experience.
  • Engaging in dedicated time each week to connect and refuel by completing individual/group tasks & projects.
  • Networking with colleagues and building client relationships.
