As a Planning Intern, you will be involved in creating, executing, and communicating strategic plans that drive financial results. Partnering with the Planning, Merchandising, and Allocation teams, as well as other cross functional partners will position you to maximize sales and create inventory plans which will delivery turn targets and profitability. You will contribute to the financial goals for Vans Americas across the US and Canada Omni markets. A day-in-the-life: Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Pre and In Season Planning - Perform pre-season and in-season planning activities across a category/gender/channel/market. Inventory Reporting – Analyze, consolidate, and report on inventory data to identify risks and opportunities. Capacity‑Constrained Supply Planning – Develop and manage capacity‑constrained supply requirements across a global network to balance customer service, inventory, and cost objectives. Supply Alignment & Risk Mitigation – Identify supply and demand misalignments across the planning horizon, troubleshoot root causes, and define mitigation plans to ensure on‑time delivery and service performance. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner closely with Merch, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Distribution on a daily basis to drive end‑to-end execution and support key strategic supply chain initiatives.
