The Strategic Supply Chain Intern assists and supports our National Strategic Supply Chain team. The position works under direct supervision with mentorship, performs routine daily activities, and gathers and distributes information. During an internship with Skanska, you may have the opportunity to gain experience with coordinating project activities with direct supervision from the Strategic Supply Chain team and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic phases of construction projects
  • Knowledge of mathematics functions (geometry, basic algebra)
  • Computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc)
  • Ability to perform all work in a timely, professional, and efficient manner while effectively communicating and interacting with project teams, trade partners, and third parties
  • Ability to present information in a clear and understandable manner in both written and verbal form
  • Working towards a bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent through experience
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Skanska employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (U.S. citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Skanska does not anticipate providing employment-related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
