Requirements

  • Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain optimization.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills
  • PacSci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer. In compliance with ITAR regulations, this position is limited to U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with cross functional team in fast paced manufacturing environment.
  • Drive actions to ensure material availability that will support the manufacturing schedule.
  • Support team with coordination and planning of manufacturing cells.
  • Assist in the management of purchase orders and manufacturing work orders.
  • Support procurement activities through management and tracking of RFQs.
  • Review, organize, and enhance documentation methods of vendor information.
  • Participate in kaizen event to drive process improvement within the supply chain.
  • Manage existing data sets and create new data models to review and track spend category data and supplier metrics.
  • Learn and utilize lean manufacturing toolset to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain communications interface with internal and external customers through written and verbal means.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
