This is a 11-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact. The pricing strategy team is at the center of some of the most important decisions made at T-Mobile, working collaboratively across multiple functions, all working towards delivering extraordinary outcomes. The work we do typically falls into one of three areas: Pricing strategy: We own and maintain the strategy behind T-Mobile's pricing and promotions, leveraging both strategic frameworks and quantitative analysis to chart future business models. Economic assessments: We gather information and create models that illustrate the economic implications of the various options associated with a particular decision. Value proposition development: We leverage our knowledge and expertise to provide recommendations for products and offer design as part of our support model.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, economics, business (finance, marketing, management), STEM
  • MBA or Master's in a business-related field (economics, finance, etc.)
  • Examples of learning new tools or domains quickly (self-directed projects, upskilling)
  • Evidence of intellectual/educational excellence (e.g., test scores)

Responsibilities

  • Handle big data (query data using SQL, clean data, analyze data, visualize data, generate insights)
  • Frame business questions (Consider a problem from multiple perspectives, break it down into simpler problems, build a framework to solve it)
  • Create economic assessment models (Use the framework above to assess different scenarios in terms of various business and financial metrics)
  • Write summary reports and/or create presentation slides summarizing recommendations, findings, methodology, caveats, etc.
  • Synthesize customer data and insights
  • Create economic models
  • Expose the trade-offs that come with each option
  • Develop and communicate recommendations
