As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you’ll join the team behind the T-Life App, a critical digital platform used by millions of customers to manage their accounts, pay bills, add lines, upgrade devices, and more.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Foundational understanding of software development through coursework, projects, or self-learning
  • Introductory exposure to AI, data, or automation concepts
  • Familiarity with Java and SQL
  • A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
  • A passion for learning, problem-solving, and making an impact
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to software features that use AI capabilities to solve real problems
  • Writing and improving code while learning industry best practices
  • Collaborating with teammates to understand goals and turn ideas into solutions
  • Participating in team meetings, learning sessions, and code reviews
  • Helping test, troubleshoot, and improve applications to ensure quality and reliability
  • Learning how modern software is developed, delivered, and continuously improved
