What You Will Be Doing As a Product Development Intern, you will lead a hands-on project focused on golf ball construction and performance testing. In this role, you will gain exposure to both lab‑scale and commercial‑scale golf ball manufacturing processes, working closely with the Golf Ball R&D team. You will design, build, and analyze various golf ball prototypes with the goal of understanding how golfers perceive feel- a highly subjective performance attribute. To succeed, you should bring a solid understanding of the game of golf to help interpret player feedback and testing data. Your project will include developing multiple ball constructions and coordinating with staff and players at The Titleist Performance Center at Manchester Lane, who will evaluate prototypes in the chipping area and provide qualitative feedback based on feel. What You Will Bring Actively pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field Lab experience gained through coursework or previous internships strongly preferred Familiarity with compression and/or injection molding processes a plus Strong experimental methodology and data analysis skills Knowledge of or experience playing golf strongly preferred Location and Duration 5 days onsite in Fairhaven, MA Personal Vehicle required as there will be local travel between facilities June- August 2026 Compensation: $22-$26/hr Our Commitment to You At Acushnet Company, we are committed to helping our associates thrive both personally and professionally. Requirements

Actively pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or related field
Lab experience gained through coursework or previous internships strongly preferred
Strong experimental methodology and data analysis skills
Knowledge of or experience playing golf strongly preferred
Personal Vehicle required as there will be local travel between facilities
