What You Will Be Doing In this role, you’ll work closely with the Casting/Urethane Engineering team to support quality improvement efforts within the casting department. You’ll help investigate and address quality issues on the casting lines by assisting with small-scale process trials focused on temperature and process conditions. Using data from these trials, you’ll support the development and validation of updated process settings. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll help monitor casting line performance, observe quality trends, and identify recurring issues related to equipment or process stability. Throughout the internship, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to urethane chemistry and manufacturing casting processes while working directly within a production environment. Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Coursework or exposure to heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and/or statistics
  • Interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on problem solving
  • Ability to analyze process data and translate findings into actionable improvements
  • Comfort working in a plant environment and collaborating with engineers and operators
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical concepts
