Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chemistry Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in chemical analysis, product formulation, and quality control processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemistry principles and a passion for applying scientific knowledge to real-world industrial challenges.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of analytical techniques such as spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR), chromatography (HPLC, GC), titration, and wet chemistry methods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Previous laboratory experience or coursework involving chemical experimentation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting chemical analyses and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various laboratory instruments and techniques.
- Support the development and optimization of product formulations under the guidance of senior chemists.
- Participate in quality control testing to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data accurately and maintain detailed lab notebooks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to support ongoing projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to chemical processes.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and project progress.
