About The Position

Baker Tilly is currently seeking IT Assurance Associates. IT Assurance Associates participate in pre-audit planning for engagements, conduct interviews and review documentation of client IT and operating procedures, perform internal control and IT test work, and prepare supporting work paper documentation. Additionally, staff participate in the preparation of client deliverables, perform a variety of analysis, evaluate IT threats and cybersecurity, and conduct technical research to solve issued that arise during various engagements. In addition to the CPA, these team members may be asked to work toward the CIA, CMA or CISA.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Baker Tilly will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree, with a preference for accounting majors
  • Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Baker Tilly's offices
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office locations
  • Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Must have a current, accepted offer with Baker Tilly (formerly Moss Adams)

Nice To Haves

  • Major in Accounting or coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable
  • If an accounting major, meeting the educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire, preferred
  • Reside within a commutable distance of a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site on a regular basis
