Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Ally Internship Program guides and mentors students with development opportunities and experiences that support your career interests while also driving the business forward. You'll have the opportunity to connect with diverse teams and functions across the company. You will interact with Ally's leadership and learn from their personal successes. As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to: Have hands on experience and project-based work Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort Participate in Group Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events Network with your peers, your team, and those Allys you find interesting Lead an end of assignment presentation Interning within Technology means being part of a team that is dedicated to enabling growth, remaining diligent about security, embracing solutions for all lines of business and leveraging data as an asset. Throughout the duration of the 11-week program, you'll have the ability to hone your skills in cross function communication, process optimization, and technical leadership to name a few. Typically, interns are matched with a specific team and manager in mid-spring. Doing so offers the ability to assign program participants to real-time, business critical needs. You would be on one of the Product Owner teams or the Animation team in DPX. DPX: Digital Products & Experience Combines technology innovation and design innovation to revolutionize how customers interact with financial institutions to achieve their wellbeing. This organization leverages advanced analytics, efficient exploratory testing, and rapid testing environments to support data-driven decisions on opportunities for personalization and user experience.

Requirements

  • PRODUCT OWNER: Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program or actively pursuing a Master's program
  • PRODUCT OWNER: Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • PRODUCT OWNER: Demonstrates learning agility, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and technical acumen
  • PRODUCT OWNER: Available for the full duration of the internship program
  • PRODUCT OWNER: Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Animation, Motion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (expected to graduate in 2027 or 2028)
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Previous work/project portfolio required
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Experience with design software - After Effects, Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma. Adobe Premier Pro is a plus.
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Portfolio that showcases your best illustration, animation and motion design work
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, composition, motion and illustration
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Strong organizational skills
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • PRODUCT OWNER: Previous tech internship experience or relevant tech project work is preferred
  • PRODUCT OWNER: Extracurricular activities/leadership experience is preferred (student organizations, volunteering, sports, part-time roles, hackathons, etc.)
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Familiarity with design systems and human-centered design principles a plus

Responsibilities

  • PRODUCT OWNER: As a Product Owner , you will take part in leading productivity and efficiency optimization through the full lifecycle of a product
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Collaborate with our design team to concept, storyboard, and animate motion experiences that align with our brand's vision and tone
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Design and develop motion graphics, animations, and micro-interactions for various digital channels and formats
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Work closely with our Creative Services team to ensure that all motion experiences are on-brand and on-message
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions to help shape the direction of our motion design work
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in animation and motion design
  • DIGITAL ANIMATION: Adhere to Ally's animation and motion design guidelines and general UX best practices
