ALSAC is the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and we're looking for passionate college students to join us this summer. Internship Details: Dates: June 1 - August 7, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday) Pay: $17.48 hour Work Location: This is a hybrid position where candidate can choose to report into the office in Santa Ana or Los Angeles. Internship Focus: Make an Impact with ALSAC/St. Jude Join a dynamic team that's passionate about building relationships and creating unforgettable experiences to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Our team includes: Philanthropic Advisors working on major gifts, planned giving, and bequests. Development Specialist and Advisors driving donor engagement through exciting events like Radio campaigns, Dream Home Giveaways, Walk/Runs, Galas, Promotions, and Collegiate outreach. We focus on high-impact partnerships, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and outreach to Asian American and Chicano/Latino/Hispanic communities.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college/university or May 2026 graduate
  • Passionate about our mission
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Majors preferred: Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communications, and any other related major
  • Skills preferred: Social Media, Microsoft Suite, Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Create & Manage Social Media Content - Help shape our local Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn presence.
  • Boost Engagement - Assist with strategies to grow our online community.
  • Event Support - Get hands-on experience with logistics for major fundraising events, including:
  • Dream Home Giveaway
  • SoCal Walk/Run - September 2026
  • Invest in Hope Dinner - September 2026
  • Hope for the Children Dinner - September 2026
  • Team Recruitment & Cultivation - Help recruit and engage partners for our St. Jude Walk campaign.
  • Collaborate Closely - Work alongside Event leads to achieving campaign goals.
