About The Position
Hendricks CareerTek is Hiring Summer Interns! Hendricks CareerTek is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated summer intern to support our Summer Academies and other initiatives throughout the season. If you enjoy working with middle/high school-aged students, are friendly, and hard-working, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful impact. This role is perfect for a highly organized, hard-working individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in activity coordination, communication, and youth engagement.
Requirements
- Experience with Google Suite & Canva
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Passion for working and engaging with students
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Candidate MUST be 18+ years old, and have their own vehicle that they would be able to use every day
- Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs.
- Indoor and outdoor work environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the organization and implementation of Summer Academies.
- Draft and send academy details and reminder emails.
- Prepare and organize academy supplies.
- Track and maintain attendance data.
- Create newsletters and photobooks showcasing academy activities.
- Organize and develop academy photo books for participants.
- Assist with additional office projects as needed.
