About The Position

Purpose We're looking for an enthusiastic student to help turn raw factory data into actionable insights for our simulation and decision support tools.

Requirements

• Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
• Undergraduate or first‑year master's in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or Data Science
• Coursework or projects in process modeling, optimization, or simulation
• Comfortable with Python (pandas, matplotlib, SimPy optional) and Excel
• Curious about manufacturing operations and how data supports decisions

Responsibilities

• Instrument and capture structured data from production systems
• Assist with model calibration and parameter estimation for our discrete event simulation
• Prototype visual dashboards and reporting tools (Python, Excel)
• Document data workflows and contribute to tool‑design discussions
