About The Position

PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 Business Intern for Projects & Planning Department, Electric Operations. This job involves working as a(n) Business Intern. Perform various analytical related assignments on work in connection with the construction, operation, and maintenance of utility systems within the Electric Operating Division. Specific attention and focus will be as a member of the team planning, managing, and budgeting electrical operations. Interns will collaborate with work integration and scheduling staff to monitor and manage the organization's financial plan, including analyzing spending, conducting cost-benefit analyses, forecasting future needs, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance. This position will be Hybrid Fixed.

Requirements

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, and Business Analytics, and related fields like Economics, or Data Science and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
  • Incumbents must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration.
  • Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement. Onsite and remote as scheduled.
