About The Position

As the Suites Runner you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operation set-up and breakdown of the suites F&B orders. Additionally, keep up with event day orders and efficiently delivers items to suites.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food promptly and professionally; maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follows up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
• Communicates directly with supervisor and back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others. Remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
• Promptly addresses complaints or issues; relays relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensures that the suite is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keeps area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operates a variety of equipment, speed racks, hot boxes, service carts, flatbed cart, telephones, and coffee machines.
• Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
• Stand for long period of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Demonstrate physical stamina/agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50lbs.
• Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
