About The Position

Overview The Premium Suites Food Runner is responsible for serving guests in the Suites. The Suites Food Runner must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$14.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until May 8, 2026.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, and guests.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • A true spirit of hospitality, relationship building and an ability to have fun at work in a live-event driven environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid food handling certificate and TABC certificate prior to working at Moody Center.
  • Ability to meet the company standard of excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with setup of food service areas within specific suites.
  • Organizes and prepares for events in assigned locations
  • Assures that all equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Monitors and maintains food quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Monitors inventory and communicates when stock becomes low.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • Maintain stock of all supplies the guests may need within the suites throughout the event.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
