In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, serving, and maintaining the suites to ensure a top-tier experience for our VIP guests. Requirements

• Team player with a positive, friendly attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• 1+ years of serving experience is required.
• Ability to remain professional with high-profile guests, including donors, alumni, and former athletes.
• Availability to work all UW-Madison Football games and a majority of events at the Kohl Center during the 2026-2027 season.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification & Alcohol Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to stand and walk for long hours in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring guests receive friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu and available products to assist guests effectively.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
• Arrange buffet tables and set up food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
• Assemble and deliver all food, beverages, and supplies to their scheduled locations within the suites.
• Monitor food temperatures and maintain safety standards throughout the event.
• Thoroughly clean and organize the suite area after events to ensure everything is left neat and tidy.
• Return leftover food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
• Stock, clean, and maintain assigned suites, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to meet health standards.
• Perform other duties as required to ensure successful event operations.
