The Sugar Boiler works in the factory on the process side. They ensure maximum pan yields of quality sugar meeting specifications while minimizing sugar losses, molasses and inverts on the pan floor. Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to: Boils sugar efficiently and maximizes sugar production. Maintains sugar product quality standards. Maintains safe and sanitary pan floor operations. Prepares pan fondant. Manages the sugar end juice flows, tank levels and pan boiling effectively. Recognizes the impact sugar boiling has to other stations and operators within the factory. Performs other duties as assigned and required to work overtime as needed.
