JMT is currently looking for experienced utility designators to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Virginia Beach, VA!
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment to locate subsurface utilities
- Mark utilities upon location
- Excavate utilities as needed
- Interpret roadway and utility construction plans and utility record drawings
- Record accurate and clear field notes
- Document assignments
- Perform calculations
- Travel required
