The SUD Counselor is responsible for supporting clients in adjusting their belief systems and patterns of behavior that have contributed to continued Substance Use Disorder. This provider utilizes various methods of therapy to effectively communicate and facilitate both group and individual sessions with clients and their families. The SUD Counselor will complete clinical assessments and determine the appropriate level of care needed for each client. The individual in this role will organize services and support the facilitation of a client's recovery and achievement of life goals, improving functioning in the home, school, workplace, and community.
