All Covenant House Alaska program staff work as advocates and allies for youth experiencing homelessness and human trafficking. The Success Manager will build intentional and meaningful relationships with youth, engage them in a variety of programming, assist in providing desired referrals and work through their stages of change to drive toward long-term positive outcomes. The Success Manager is responsible for the ongoing engagement, assessment, and service planning with young people to meet their housing, health and wellness, employment and educational goals, as they move towards permanent housing. The Success Manager will maintain a case load of 10-15 youth ages 13-24, experiencing homelessness and/or trafficking, who may have multiple barriers (e.g. serious mental illness, substance use disorders, chronic health conditions, frequent contact with law enforcement, etc.). Other functions include crisis intervention and de-escalation, documentation in multiple databases, facilitation of psycho-educational and support group activities, community engagement and networking with local service providers. The Success Manager will work in partnership and collaboration with multiple agencies or programs and provide systems’ advocacy to help youth reach their identified goals.
