About The Position

The Work This position is for an experienced professional engineer to become a member of the Solid State Radar Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Subsystem Engineering team. This engineer will support the development of radar/antenna manager applications for deployment on real-time hardware. The engineer will have the opportunity to design and document antenna processing hardware/software architectures, design and analyze processing algorithms, perform modeling and simulation, and develop and execute test plans. The engineer will work on cross-discipline teams of systems, hardware, software, firmware, and test engineers while supporting all phases of development from concept through customer qualification testing. This position requires a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, computer science, or Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with requirements development and performance analysis
  • Experience with MATLAB, DOORs, MBSE
  • Experience testing processing hardware and/or software
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding application of Design Patterns
  • Experience with GIT
  • Experience with Code Optimization
  • 1LMX IBM tools including Rhapsody, DOORS Next Generation, and Jazz
  • Self Motivator and able to communicate effectively
  • Good organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, and senior management levels
