About The Position
Purpose: Substitute for permanent teacher. Instructs, follows lesson plans, and assesses student knowledge on behalf of the permanent teacher; Maintains a well-structured educational environment; Monitors students when needed; Maintains professional licensure and development; Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must maintain valid Ohio substitute teacher license or higher
- Must demonstrate Advanced level on the Sign Language Proficiency Interview (SLPI) within one year of hire, Intermediate level minimum for hiring
