Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will carry out lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and ensure a positive, productive learning environment aligned with the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to different grade levels and subjects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with students with learning disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver instruction according to prepared lesson plans.
  • Maintain classroom order and create an environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Take necessary precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • Provide timely feedback to the classroom teacher.
  • Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and board policies.
  • Collaborate with school personnel and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Assist with clerical office tasks as needed.
  • Report to the principal or designee at the start and end of each school day.
